It's darn cold here - a high of -23, a low of -30. At these temperatures, it doesn't really matter if it's Celsius or Fahrenheit. It's still cold.
And yet, while I was in the parking lot today, waiting for my own car to warm up, the car that had pulled in next to me had the sunroof partially open. I guess it's worth it to look cool, even when it's this cold.

Or maybe his defrosters weren't working and it was the only way he could think of to cool the inside of the car so his windows didn't frost over from his body heat. I've done it before. It's definitely not fun.
Hah! You had me at the negatives. You're right, it doesn't matter C or F.
I've had to open the windows when my heater is on the fritz and got stuck at "broil" before, so maybe that, too?
I have been reading about your cold weather. We are headed to Ottawa on Sunday - wonder what we shall get for weather.
It's the wind more than anything that makes it so cold here. If there's no wind, it's a mild day. Add a little wind and it feels like the south pole. ugh
BTW, my needlecase arrived safe and sound. It's wonderful. I love that pattern. Thanks again.
Maybe he/she is a smoker, and opens the roof to let some of the smoke out? lol... I once knew a girl who was a bit claustrophobic, and if she had the heat on in her car, she always had to crack a window, or she felt like she couldn't breathe.
