January BJP Finished!

Here's the finished January Bead Journal Project - a 3" by 3" square, with lots of green on it. I like the organic grassy-ness of the project, and am still getting used to the new beading material. After picking buttons last year, which had their own challenges, the 6" wide interfacing has it's own characteristics, which I'm still getting used to.

I especially like the lovely gentle flow of this piece, like tall grass in a warm meadow. Think spring!

I love it! It makes me think of Spring which sadly is a long time away here in snowy Indiana:)

Wow! I love the greens and the way they look like they are flowing...reminds me of rolling hills. That's a lot of area to cover, too, very ambitious!

This just flows along so beautifully and reminds me that spring WILL come one of these days... It's gentle. Yes, working larger is a challenge, no matter what type of material you choose to bead on. You'll get used to it.

After leaving the above comment I read the others and was struck by how many of us used the words "flow" and "spring" to describe your work. That's quite a compliment!
