I caved in....
I received my Egyptian Garden chart and supplies this week, and of course, I had to put a few stitches in the fabric. This is my progress to date. I also managed to do a few more of the specialty stitches on Alhambra, and I'm hoping to have that completed soon. I decided to go with the alternate centre - on 32 count, the beads just didn't lie nicely no matter what I tried, and so I'll be doing mostly cross stitch instead.

Yay! It will be fun to watch EG grow with you. I cannot wait now for AG to be all sparkled up too.

Nice start on EG.
Alhambra is so, so gorgeous. I can only imagine how it looks in person.
That's a great start on the Egyptian Garden. I can't wait to see more...
Wow, that's some 'small start' on EG! ;) I'm going to love watching your progress on this one ... I might even start dragging mine back out again in a couple of months, and seeing yours grow will be added incentive! :)
They both look gorgeous, Karin!
Wow you are a very fast stitcher to have completed all that in a week.
Both are beautiful!!!
Love EG - you may inspire me to start mine! Alhambra is looking beautiful - great progress.
Alhambra is so beautiful!!! I may decide to stitch that one myself, if I ever get Persian Iris Garden done.
