I can't believe how fast winter hit. I only got 5 days of wear out of my fall coat before needing my winter one.
Sigh. Off to find the mittens and scarf.

I love colour - the more the better. Which might explain how I got into stitching. I love hand dyed anything, especially if it's sparkly or shiny. And then I discovered glass bead making. It's colour, but even better. I've always enjoyed beading, and when I discovered I could make my own....well... nirvana finally appeared.

And I'm still waiting to turn of the AC here in Houston. Maybe this week... if it ever stops raining. (I can't open the windows if it'll mean rain blowing in.)
Is it that much colder where you are than where I am? It was pretty miserable yesterday (cloudy, damp and a bit windy) but we were still up above freezing and I was warm enough in my hoodie and a puffy vest. Looks like we'll mostly be in the single digits this week but today's high is 10C. Woo!
That is just disgusting! Since I needed a new wardrobe this fall/winter I've developed a bit of a coat fetish! Hopefully I'll get a chance to wear the red leather coat, the gorgeous wool coat, and the practical down coat. See what I mean, coat fetish! I almost bought another mircofleece one in Costco on Thursday. I was a good gril and recognized my problem and put it back. LOL.
My name is Dani and I'm addicted to coats...
It's actually not that much colder here, but the wind is nasty. I was up in Edmonton for the weekend at a wedding, and made out OK with the spring coat, but it was too cold to wear that one to work this morning.
