I watched game 2 of the Stanley Cup final last night with some friends. It was a pretty uneventful game for the most part - the only goal came late in the third period. We had a good discussion on who we were cheering for though - Ottawa's the Canadian team so most of us thought our loyalty should lie there, but Anaheim is closer, and has more Canadian players, so we had a good arguement going on who should gain our loyalty.
It was a great night last night - one of those spectacular summer evenings that are best enjoyed on a patio and enjoying a beverage, so I guess we all won, no matter who won the hockey game.

Oh I love those kinds of summer nights, even the ones with a touch of chill in the air. Sounds wonderful.
Seems like a reasonable way to choose alliances to me!
