Slowly getting back....

Last week seemed like it was one thing after another - my computer crashed, I got a parking ticket and nothing else seemed like it was going right. This week is better - it's finally getting a bit lighter, and a bit warmer, and most things are going right.

I'm *almost* finished with Alhambra - just a few more sections to bead. I'd post pictures, but the camera only connects to the laptop, and it's the computer that is limping along at the moment, and won't connect to the internet, so there's no pictures. I hope to have something figured out soon so I can show everyone. It's definitely been a labour of love on that one, but I really enjoyed stitching it. I'm hoping to have Watergarden done sometime this year too, although I said that last year.

Well done with Alhambra! I'll be cheering you on to your finish! And I'll be very jealous as I'd love to finish one of my Chatelaine WIPs, but unfortunately, I just keep getting distracted!

Sorry about your computer & the parking ticket.

Do you have a USB port on your other computer? If so, you can buy a memory card reader for your camera so you don't need to attach the camera itself to the computer. K find it much easier to use. The readers cost about $15.

Karin, sorry to hear you're having a rough time of it lately! I'm sure thigns are bound to look up. I must admit I'm getting pretty tired of the cold... and the dark, at least that's improving.

I can't wait for you to show us Alahambra!

Some days (or weeks) just go like that, don't they? I hope things are looking up for you now. You must be so excited to be nearly done with Alhambra I can't wait to see it.

Looking forward to seeing the pictures. My Chatelaine is fast becoming a UFO but I hope to get back to it soon.

Well done with Alhambra. Watching your progress on White Nights with interest as I am starting it today.
What floss did you use tosew the beads on in Part 1?
